Livermore, CA, December 14, 2022 – For the 36th year, Livermore Valley Wine Community and Pacific States Petroleum partnered for a Toys for Tots drive during the annual Holidays in the Vineyards event. During the two-day event on December 3 and 4, 2022, over 575 toys were collected at the Livermore Valley wineries for Toys for Tots. Pacific State Petroleum matched the donations made by patrons and the wineries toy for toy, resulting in a total of over 1,150 toys. All the toys will go to a local collection done by the U.S. Marines and will be passed out to the children in the community.
“We have hosted Holidays in the Vineyards for over 35 years. This event brings the community together and is truly a tradition that is dear to locals and travelers from all over the Bay Area,” said Brandi Lombardi, Interim Executive Director for the Livermore Valley Wine Community. “We are proud to partner with Pacific States Petroleum for the Toys for Tots drive and are overwhelmed with gratitude to those who donated toys. The toys are sure to bring joy to many children this holiday season.”
“Pacific States Petroleum has a longstanding partnership with the Livermore Valley Wine Community and is thrilled to partner with them on the annual Toys for Tots toy drive,” said Jason Edwards, General Manager, Propane, for Pacific States Petroleum, Inc. “Throughout the past many years, our purpose with Toys for Tots is to make a direct impact within our community by providing a toy to local children that would otherwise not have a present. We’re happy that more children will have a smile on their face this holiday season.”
The partnership between Livermore Valley Wine Community and Pacific States Petroleum, Inc. goes beyond the holiday season and is an important relationship that builds partnership and comrade with business owners, wine growers, families and friends of the community in which they work and live.
