August is the perfect month to explore wineries and enjoy live music, as vineyards come alive with vibrant events and performances. Here is our list of the “Top 10 Wineries with Live Music to Visit in August,” offering unforgettable live music experiences, where you can savor fine wines while soaking in the sounds of talented musicians.
1. Almost Famous Wine Company
Almost Famous Wine Company is an award-winning tasting room with a world-class stage, sound, and lighting in Vasco Row, the heart of Livermore Valley’s urban wine and beer scene! Their stage-room and lounge fits just under 200 people, and features a stage, sound and lighting that rivals the world’s best venues. The musicians themselves thrive in this intimate setting, creating connections, and playing riveting sets. 2. Las Positas Vineyards
Las Positas Vineyards is dedicated to the marriage of Old World craftsmanship and New World pioneer spirit in the production of world-class wines from our estate winery in California’s historic Livermore Valley AVA. 3. Retzlaff Vineyards & Estate Winery
Much of the beauty of Retzlaff Vineyards is due to their organic practices. Retzlaff is a pioneer in organic grape growing and remains the only California Certified Organic vineyard in the greater San Francisco Bay region. Their founder, Robert Taylor is a Ph.D. geochemist with an understanding of how harmful certain chemicals can be to our environment and our health. Another gem in the bustling Vasco Row area, Wood Family Vineyards is the place to go for fun, friends, and fantastic wine and live music. Wood Family has been in their current location since June of 2017 when their tasting room opened. They have a strong commitment to each other and to the celebration of life, family and friends.
